TinyMce Image picker lost in 4.5

What happend with the RTE (TinyMce) image picker after upgrade from 4.0x -> 4.5? Clicking on insert/edit image just shows a image property dialogue. No possibility to choose / upload image. Something I've missed?

The Media Picker was changed to use the Improved Media Picker in 4.5.

I do remember reading about some problems after upgrading. I think one of these threads will have a solution:
